Bracket with Continuous Cover Glass Railing

Bracket and cover — continuous looks, bracket economics

6 products in this system

This system fixes the glass on individual brackets at set centres, then runs a continuous cover profile over the top of them. From any normal viewing distance the finished run reads as one clean line, but you are only paying for hardware at the fixing points.

What this system asks of the build

Setting out matters more than it does with a full continuous channel — bracket centres have to be worked out against panel weight before anything is drilled. Get that right and it is the best value route to a continuous appearance.

Where it is normally used

Common on longer commercial runs, apartment balconies and projects where budget rules out a full continuous channel but the client still wants the uninterrupted look.

What we stock in this range

The Bracket With Continuous Cover System range runs to 6 profiles. Between them they cover 12 mm Glass. Supported glass heights are up to 3.5 feet, up to 2.5 feet and up to 3 feet. About the Bracket With Continuous Cover System Range

This system fixes the glass on individual brackets at set centres, then runs a continuous cover profile over the top of them. From any normal viewing distance the finished run reads as one clean line, but you are only paying for hardware at the fixing points.

Common on longer commercial runs, apartment balconies and projects where budget rules out a full continuous channel but the client still wants the uninterrupted look.

Across the range we machine for 12 mm Glass. Each product page lists the thickness that profile is cut for.

SS 304 is the standard grade and is correct for interiors and normal sheltered exteriors. Specify SS 316 where the installation is coastal, poolside or otherwise exposed to chlorides — the added molybdenum is what resists the pitting you get in those conditions. Everything in this range can be produced in either grade.

Anodized, powder-coated and wooden finishes, plus mirror and matt polishing. Powder coating is matched to a supplied RAL reference where a project requires it.
