Stainless Steel and Glass Railing Hardware for Export to Ghana

Manufactured in Rajkot, India · available for export to Ghana

Prince Railing manufactures stainless steel and glass railing hardware that Ghanaian importers, contractors and fabricators can import factory-direct: spigots, aluminium base profiles, glass clamps and handrails in SS 304 and SS 316. Everything is made at our own factory in Rajkot, Gujarat, and we can export it by sea to Ghana through Tema and Takoradi. We have no office, agent or stock in Ghana; you would buy direct from the manufacturer.

What the parts are called in Ghana

The hardware is the same everywhere; the names are not. This is how local trade terms map to our catalogue.

Send dimensions in millimetres or inches; we work in metric and confirm both. Tell us the glass thickness and the barrier height.

What you get from the factory

  • Made in-house. All seven railing systems are produced at our own works in Rajkot, which is how quality and finish stay consistent across a large order.
  • Stated steel grade. SS 304 or SS 316, named on the quotation, with mill test certificates available on request.
  • Finishes. Anodized, powder-coated, mirror and matt.
  • Made to your specification. Glass thickness, supported height and profile length are manufactured to the project.
  • Packed for sea freight. Profiles supported along their length with protected ends, fittings boxed and itemised.

Codes your project will be checked against

Ghana adopted a national building code in 2018 that is modelled on the International codes, so the commonly cited guard heights are 1,070 mm (42 inches) for most buildings and 915 mm (36 inches) within dwellings, with laminated glass expected in glass guards, and permits issued by the metropolitan and district assemblies. The project engineer confirms the figures for each building.

We manufacture the hardware; whether an installed barrier complies is decided by your engineer or certifier for that structure, glass and fixing. We provide profile dimensions, the steel grade and mill test certificates on request so they can make that call.

Steel grade for the climate

Accra, Tema, Takoradi and the coast are humid with sea air, which calls for SS 316 on anything external. Kumasi and the interior are humid but away from salt, and SS 304 serves well there with regular washing. The reasoning is set out in our SS 304 vs SS 316 guide.

Shipping to Ghana

Export orders ship by sea from the Gujarat coast, where Mundra, Kandla and Pipavav are the container ports nearest the factory. The main destination ports for Ghana are Tema and Takoradi. Tema handles most of the country's container imports and serves Accra directly; Takoradi serves the west. Sailings from western India round the Cape or tranship in the Gulf. Packing, documents and the commercial terms worth settling at quotation stage are covered in our guide to importing railing hardware from India; for this market, also see the railing height and load requirements by country.
