Glass Railing Hardware and Spigots for Export to the Philippines
Manufactured in Rajkot, India · available for export to the Philippines
Prince Railing manufactures glass railing hardware that Philippine glass and aluminium contractors, fabricators and hardware importers can import factory-direct: spigots, aluminium base profiles, glass brackets and stainless handrails in SS 304 and SS 316. Everything is made at our own factory in Rajkot, Gujarat, and we can export it by sea to the Philippines through Manila, Cebu and Davao. We have no office, agent or stock in the Philippines; you would buy direct from the manufacturer.
What the parts are called in the Philippines
The hardware is the same everywhere; the names are not. This is how local trade terms map to our catalogue.
| Term used in the Philippines | In our catalogue |
|---|---|
| Glass railing / stainless railing | Railing |
| Spigot | SS spigot |
| U channel / base channel | Continuous system |
| Glass clamp / glass holder | Bracket system |
| Handrail | Top handrail |
All dimensions are metric. Tell us the glass thickness you can source locally, since the hardware slot has to match it.
What you get from the factory
- Made in-house. All seven railing systems are produced at our own works in Rajkot, which is how quality and finish stay consistent across a large order.
- Stated steel grade. SS 304 or SS 316, named on the quotation, with mill test certificates available on request.
- Finishes. Anodized, powder-coated, mirror and matt.
- Made to your specification. Glass thickness, supported height and profile length are manufactured to the project.
- Packed for sea freight. Profiles supported along their length with protected ends, fittings boxed and itemised.
Codes your project will be checked against
Building work in the Philippines falls under the National Building Code and its implementing rules, with structural loads, including wind and earthquake, taken from the National Structural Code of the Philippines. On condominium towers and anything exposed, the wind load on the glass is the governing case and is set by the project's structural engineer. Send the engineer's requirement with your enquiry and we will confirm which profiles suit the supported height.
We manufacture the hardware; whether an installed barrier complies is decided by your engineer or certifier for that structure, glass and fixing. We provide profile dimensions, the steel grade and mill test certificates on request so they can make that call.
Steel grade for the climate
An island climate means warm, salt-laden air almost everywhere, and typhoon season puts real wind load on exposed glass. Specify SS 316 for balconies, roof decks and resort work, keep SS 304 for interiors, and treat glass thickness and fixing as an engineered decision on exposed sites. The reasoning is set out in our SS 304 vs SS 316 guide.
Shipping to the Philippines
Export orders ship by sea from the Gujarat coast, where Mundra, Kandla and Pipavav are the container ports nearest the factory. The main destination ports for the Philippines are Manila, Cebu and Davao. Container freight from India to Manila, Cebu or Davao generally tranships through Singapore or Port Klang. Packing, documents and the commercial terms worth settling at quotation stage are covered in our guide to importing railing hardware from India; for this market, also see the glass spigot railing guide.
