Glass Railing and Balustrade Hardware for Export to Vietnam

Prince Railing manufactures glass railing and balustrade hardware that Vietnamese distributors, fabricators and contractors can import factory-direct: spigots, aluminium base profiles, glass clamps and handrails in SS 304 and SS 316. Everything is made at our own factory in Rajkot, Gujarat, and we can export it by sea to Vietnam through Cat Lai (Ho Chi Minh City), Cai Mep, Hai Phong and Da Nang. We have no office, agent or stock in Vietnam; you would buy direct from the manufacturer.

What the parts are called in Vietnam

The hardware is the same everywhere; the names are not. This is how local trade terms map to our catalogue.

All dimensions are metric. Tell us the glass thickness and the barrier height, which on apartment balconies is often taller than elsewhere.

What you get from the factory

• Made in-house. All seven railing systems are produced at our own works in Rajkot, which is how quality and finish stay consistent across a large order.
• Stated steel grade. SS 304 or SS 316, named on the quotation, with mill test certificates available on request.
• Finishes. Anodized, powder-coated, mirror and matt.
• Made to your specification. Glass thickness, supported height and profile length are manufactured to the project.
• Packed for sea freight. Profiles supported along their length with protected ends, fittings boxed and itemised.

Codes your project will be checked against

Building work in Vietnam is designed to the national standards (TCVN) and the national technical regulations (QCVN), including the fire safety regulation QCVN 06 and the apartment building regulation QCVN 04, with permits through the provincial construction departments. The apartment regulation is stricter on balcony barriers than most markets, with 1.4 m commonly cited for balcony and loggia barriers on high-rise apartments, and laminated glass is expected where the glass is the barrier. Confirm the height and load the project engineer has adopted.

We manufacture the hardware; whether an installed barrier complies is decided by your engineer or certifier for that structure, glass and fixing. We provide profile dimensions, the steel grade and mill test certificates on request so they can make that call.

Steel grade for the climate

Vietnam is humid from north to south, the central coast from Da Nang to Nha Trang takes typhoons and sea air, and the Mekong Delta is wet year-round, so SS 316 is the grade for anything external. Interiors are well served by SS 304. The reasoning is set out in our SS 304 vs SS 316 guide.

Shipping to Vietnam

Export orders ship by sea from the Gujarat coast, where Mundra, Kandla and Pipavav are the container ports nearest the factory. The main destination ports for Vietnam are Cat Lai (Ho Chi Minh City), Cai Mep, Hai Phong and Da Nang. Cat Lai and Cai Mep serve Ho Chi Minh City and the south, Hai Phong serves Hanoi and the north and Da Nang the central coast; services from western India tranship at Singapore or Port Klang.
