Prince Railing manufactures glass balustrade and pool fencing hardware that Australian installers, fabricators and wholesalers can import factory-direct: spigots, aluminium base channels, glass clamps and handrails in SS 304 and SS 316. Everything is made at our own factory in Rajkot, Gujarat, and we can export it by sea to Australia through Sydney (Port Botany), Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle. What the parts are called in Australia

The hardware is the same everywhere; the names are not. This is how local trade terms map to our catalogue.

All dimensions are metric. Tell us the glass thickness and whether the job is a balustrade or a pool barrier, since the two are assessed differently.

What you get from the factory

• Made in-house. All seven railing systems are produced at our own works in Rajkot, which is how quality and finish stay consistent across a large order.
• Stated steel grade. SS 304 or SS 316, named on the quotation, with mill test certificates available on request.
• Finishes. Anodized, powder-coated, mirror and matt.
• Made to your specification. Glass thickness, supported height and profile length are manufactured to the project.
• Packed for sea freight. Profiles supported along their length with protected ends, fittings boxed and itemised.

Codes your project will be checked against

Balustrades in Australia are governed by the National Construction Code, with glass selected to AS 1288 and loads taken from AS/NZS 1170.1. The commonly cited heights are 1 m wherever the fall is 1 m or more and 865 mm above the nosings on a stair flight, with openings that stop a 125 mm sphere. Pool barriers fall under AS 1926.1 and are generally 1,200 mm high. AS 1288 is specific about when a frameless balustrade needs an interlinking handrail or laminated glass, so have your certifier confirm the glass and fixing together.

We manufacture the hardware; whether an installed barrier complies is decided by your engineer or certifier for that structure, glass and fixing. We provide profile dimensions, the steel grade and mill test certificates on request so they can make that call.

Steel grade for the climate

Most Australian building is within reach of the coast, and pool water adds chlorides of its own, so SS 316 is the practical minimum outdoors. The local market often specifies duplex 2205 for pool spigots; we manufacture in SS 304 and SS 316, so confirm the grade your certifier will accept before ordering. Shipping to Australia

Export orders ship by sea from the Gujarat coast, where Mundra, Kandla and Pipavav are the container ports nearest the factory. The main destination ports for Australia are Sydney (Port Botany), Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle. Australian biosecurity rules are strict on timber packaging, so crates and pallets must be treated and marked to ISPM 15; raise it at quotation stage so the packing is agreed before dispatch.
