Glass Railing and Balustrade Hardware for Export to Singapore

Prince Railing manufactures glass railing and balustrade hardware that Singapore contractors, distributors and glass and metal fabricators can import factory-direct: spigots, aluminium base profiles, glass clamps and handrails in SS 304 and SS 316. Everything is made at our own factory in Rajkot, Gujarat, and we can export it by sea to Singapore through Port of Singapore (Pasir Panjang and Tuas). We have no office, agent or stock in Singapore; you would buy direct from the manufacturer.

What the parts are called in Singapore

The hardware is the same everywhere; the names are not. This is how local trade terms map to our catalogue.

All dimensions are metric. Tell us the glass build-up and the barrier height, and whether the work is a condominium balcony, a landed house or a commercial fit-out.

What you get from the factory

• Made in-house. All seven railing systems are produced at our own works in Rajkot, which is how quality and finish stay consistent across a large order.
• Stated steel grade. SS 304 or SS 316, named on the quotation, with mill test certificates available on request.
• Finishes. Anodized, powder-coated, mirror and matt.
• Made to your specification. Glass thickness, supported height and profile length are manufactured to the project.
• Packed for sea freight. Profiles supported along their length with protected ends, fittings boxed and itemised.

Codes your project will be checked against

Barriers in Singapore come under the Building Control Act and Regulations administered by the Building and Construction Authority, with the design endorsed by a Qualified Person. A minimum barrier height of 1 m is the commonly cited figure, glass in a barrier must be safety glass, and the authority has published guidance expecting laminated glass where the glass itself is the barrier. Send the Qualified Person's requirement with your enquiry.

We manufacture the hardware; whether an installed barrier complies is decided by your engineer or certifier for that structure, glass and fixing. We provide profile dimensions, the steel grade and mill test certificates on request so they can make that call.

Steel grade for the climate

Singapore is equatorial and surrounded by sea, so humidity and salt reach every balcony and roof terrace: specify SS 316 outdoors. Air-conditioned interiors are well served by SS 304. The reasoning is set out in our SS 304 vs SS 316 guide.

Shipping to Singapore

Export orders ship by sea from the Gujarat coast, where Mundra, Kandla and Pipavav are the container ports nearest the factory. The main destination ports for Singapore are Port of Singapore (Pasir Panjang and Tuas). Singapore has direct container services from Mundra and Nhava Sheva and is the transhipment hub for the whole region, so transit times are among the shortest in Asia.
