Glass Railing and Balustrade Hardware for Export to Indonesia

Prince Railing manufactures glass railing and balustrade hardware that Indonesian importers, distributors and glass and metal fabricators can import factory-direct: spigots, aluminium base profiles, glass clamps and handrails in SS 304 and SS 316. Everything is made at our own factory in Rajkot, Gujarat, and we can export it by sea to Indonesia through Tanjung Priok (Jakarta), Tanjung Perak (Surabaya) and Belawan (Medan). We have no office, agent or stock in Indonesia; you would buy direct from the manufacturer.

What the parts are called in Indonesia

The hardware is the same everywhere; the names are not. This is how local trade terms map to our catalogue.

All dimensions are metric. Tell us the glass thickness available locally and the barrier height.

What you get from the factory

• Made in-house. All seven railing systems are produced at our own works in Rajkot, which is how quality and finish stay consistent across a large order.
• Stated steel grade. SS 304 or SS 316, named on the quotation, with mill test certificates available on request.
• Finishes. Anodized, powder-coated, mirror and matt.
• Made to your specification. Glass thickness, supported height and profile length are manufactured to the project.
• Packed for sea freight. Profiles supported along their length with protected ends, fittings boxed and itemised.

Codes your project will be checked against

Building work in Indonesia is approved through the PBG building permit under the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, with design to the Indonesian national standards (SNI): loads from SNI 1727 and earthquake design from SNI 1726, which matters because much of the country is seismically active. Barrier heights of 1,000 mm, and higher on high-rise balconies, are the commonly cited figures, and laminated glass is expected where the glass is the barrier. The project engineer confirms the figures for each building.

We manufacture the hardware; whether an installed barrier complies is decided by your engineer or certifier for that structure, glass and fixing. We provide profile dimensions, the steel grade and mill test certificates on request so they can make that call.

Steel grade for the climate

Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali and the islands are equatorial, humid and within reach of the sea, so SS 316 is the practical grade outdoors, and essential on Bali villa and resort work where pools add chlorides. Interiors are well served by SS 304. The reasoning is set out in our SS 304 vs SS 316 guide.

Shipping to Indonesia

Export orders ship by sea from the Gujarat coast, where Mundra, Kandla and Pipavav are the container ports nearest the factory. The main destination ports for Indonesia are Tanjung Priok (Jakarta), Tanjung Perak (Surabaya) and Belawan (Medan). Tanjung Priok handles most container imports and serves Java; Bali is usually served through Surabaya or by feeder to Benoa. Services from western India generally tranship at Singapore or Port Klang.
