Prince Railing manufactures glass railing and balustrade hardware that Omani building-material distributors, contractors and aluminium and glass fabricators can import factory-direct: spigots, aluminium base profiles, glass clamps and handrails in SS 304 and SS 316. Everything is made at our own factory in Rajkot, Gujarat, and we can export it by sea to Oman through Sohar and Salalah. We have no office, agent or stock in Oman; you would buy direct from the manufacturer.

What you get from the factory
- Made in-house. All seven railing systems are produced at our own works in Rajkot, which is how quality and finish stay consistent across a large order.
- Stated steel grade. SS 304 or SS 316, named on the quotation, with mill test certificates available on request.
- Finishes. Anodized, powder-coated, mirror and matt.
- Made to your specification. Glass thickness, supported height and profile length are manufactured to the project.
- Packed for sea freight. Profiles supported along their length with protected ends, fittings boxed and itemised.
Codes your project will be checked against
Building permits in Oman run through the municipalities, Muscat Municipality for the capital area, and project consultants commonly specify barriers to British standards: BS 6180 for loads, with 1,100 mm cited for external balconies and roof edges and 900 mm for internal stairs, and laminated glass where a frameless balustrade has no handrail. Confirm the figures the consultant has adopted for your project before ordering glass.
We manufacture the hardware; whether an installed barrier complies is decided by your engineer or certifier for that structure, glass and fixing. We provide profile dimensions, the steel grade and mill test certificates on request so they can make that call.
Steel grade for the climate
Muscat and the Batinah coast are hot and humid with sea air; Salalah has the khareef monsoon, with months of damp, salty mist. Both call for SS 316 outdoors. The interior is dry, and SS 304 is appropriate for indoor work there. The reasoning is set out in our SS 304 vs SS 316 guide.
Shipping to Oman
Export orders ship by sea from the Gujarat coast, where Mundra, Kandla and Pipavav are the container ports nearest the factory. The main destination ports for Oman are Sohar and Salalah. Sohar is the container gateway for Muscat and the north; Salalah serves Dhofar and is also a major transhipment hub on the India to East Africa routes.
